1973 Harley Davidson Sportster XLCH 1000

Running motorcycle with clear title. The current owner, a friend of mine, bought this bike about a year ago, he got it running, lost interest and asked me to sell it for him. 

The photos pretty much show the condition of the chassis. The front wheel is from a more recent model, handlebar chrome is fading, rear shocks are weak, tank and frame have been repainted. New seat and good tires. 

This is a kick-starter only bike with right side shift. It has been sitting unused for a while. When cold it is a little hard to start and the idle is a bit rough but once warmed up runs smooth. Maybe needs a carburetor clean up or adjustment. When engine is running there is a leak at the bottom of the pushrods and it will need to have the gaskets replaced. Brakes works properly. Overall I believe is a solid bike in need some care and a proper tune up. Mileage unkown.
